Purpose To reduce antisocial behaviour and give young people something to do at the Queensgate shopping centre during the winter months
Background Police identified the Queensgate shopping centre and bus station as one of the top three antisocial behaviour hotspots in Peterborough.
At the same time, young people in the city said they wanted more to do on Saturday afternoons. The city council's youth service, local police, shopping centre representatives and security firm City Radio Link met in December to try to find a solution.
