Goldsmith told the House of Lords last week: "A thorough search to identify all potentially relevant cases has been undertaken, and the process has been extended to include cases involving carers."
The review was ordered in January after three high-profile cases involving Sir Roy's evidence. Trupti Patel was acquitted of murdering her three babies, and Angela Cannings and Sally Clark were cleared by the Appeal Court.
The total number of cases subject to review has increased from 258 to 298. Goldsmith surprised campaigners last week when he announced that only five cases out of 97 reviews completed to date will be considered further by the Court of Appeal or the Criminal Cases Review Commission.
