GamCare, which addresses problem gambling, is working with youth organisations such as The National Youth Agency and YMCA on the initiative. It is also redeveloping its web site to make it more accessible.
Culture secretary Tessa Jowell published draft clauses of a new gambling bill on 15 July, with the aim of protecting children and young people.
The draft bill will be published later this year.
She said: "We must take the strongest steps to protect children ... from being harmed or exploited by gambling."
There are to be stricter controls over access by children to places where gambling takes place, according to the draft, and provisions to make sure under-18s don't take part.
