What is it? The Clothworkers' Foundation was set up on 18 July 1977 by The Clothworkers' Company, an ancient City of London Livery Company founded to promote the craft of cloth-finishing.It is now the independent charitable arm for the whole of the company's charitable work.
How much is on offer? There are no maximum or minimum amounts. Recent awards include £2,000 for the Children's Adventure Farm Trust to transport children to and from adventure farm holidays and days out in various locations across England, and £20,000 to Honeypot Charity for a playbus offering outreach play and educational activities to disadvantaged young people and young carers in London and the South East.
