Funding Watch: LankellyChase Foundation

1 min read

What is it? The LankellyChase Foundation was formed in 2005 when the Chase Charity and the Lankelly Foundation joined forces. The foundation works to improve the quality of the most disadvantaged people's lives. Its Summer Activities Small Grants Programme funds activities for children and young people aged five to 17 years old.

How much is on offer? Grants of £500 are offered to voluntary, community and charitable organisations to support summer activities and play schemes. The foundation makes around 120 grants each year, and aims to spread this equally across projects in the UK.

What will it fund? The 2010 funds are specifically for activities that will benefit young carers and children and young people who are living in refuges for families escaping domestic violence. Applications must include a copy of the applicant's child protection policy, its most recent accounts and an up-to-date bank statement.
