Funding Brief: Fund helps football

A project to bring football to young people on four London housing estates has been awarded 55,000 by the Football Foundation. The project, run in Islington by the council, a local community partnership, Access to Sports, and the police's safer neighbourhood's scheme, has reduced anti-social behaviour and cut crime by 20 per cent.
