Fulham FC awards young volunteers

Fulham Football Club has given awards to some of the 150 young volunteers from its Community Champions scheme.

Volunteers aged 14 to 25 have been running football coaching in the community as well as taking part in social inclusion activities and office-based work.

Volunteer of the year Luca Petre commented: "I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life, but now I've a much better idea. I've always loved sports and I've always loved working with young people and by taking part I have been fortunate to be able to do both."
