"Me and my brother can be late for school if we eat breakfast at home, so going to breakfast club means we get there on time," says Nigel, 10, who attends North Leeds Pupil Development Centre's breakfast club. "We get a quick breakfast, and it's really healthy and good, and after that we can play. I really like it when we do the singing."
Nigel's views are echoed by Lauren, 11, who attends the same club. "The thing I like about the club is that it helps my mum to get to work on time in the morning," she says. "I have lots of friends at the club, of all different ages, and I really enjoy all the activities."
