The young people from the Muslim Welfare House Trust, in north London, held talks with policy officials from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Counter-Terrorism Unit as part of the Home Office's Access to Jobs and Services initiative.
Moadh Kheriji, project manager at the trust, said: "The radical views of the nearby Finsbury Park Mosque's religious leaders created tension in the community, and many young people felt they were being singled out for the actions of a radical minority."
