The Evangelical Alliance's Champions of Respect competition will recognise the positive contributions that those aged under 25 make to society.
A spokeswoman for the alliance said this could involve a young person running a project, taking part in ongoing work, or even resolving problems within their own life.
Reverend Joel Edwards, general director of the alliance, said: "The Evangelical Alliance wants to challenge the negative stereotypes regularly associated with young people in Britain."
The awards are open to all young people regardless of their religious beliefs. Individuals have to be nominated by someone who can vouch for the contribution they have made.
