Faith-based: Church of Scotland in teenager survey

The Church of Scotland has been asking young people for their views on faith-based youth work.

The Church is consulting with teenagers as part of its efforts to align itself with the Scottish government's youth strategy, Moving Forward.

The strategy does not mention faith-based youth work and one of the questions in the survey asks young people why they think this could be.

The Church of Scotland estimates that it has about 15,000 volunteers working with 100,000 young people, so it is keen to see the role that it will play in the Scottish government's youth work plans.
