Four years ago, Parish Church CE Junior School and Parish Church CEInfant School in Croydon took the unusual decision to establish alimited company to administer their children's club. Set up using a NewOpportunities Fund grant, the Parish Church Children's Club offers arange of services including a breakfast club from 8am to 9am everymorning and an after-school club that runs in the afternoons until5.30pm.

As a result, the board of directors comprises both headteachers as well as representatives from both governing bodies, whilethe company provides audited annual accounts.
