Beverley Hughes, the new minister for children, families and young people, will deliver a keynote address at Children Now's extended schools conference on 29 June, replacing Margaret Hodge.

The aim of the conference is to present best practice and learning in establishing financially sustainable multi-agency extended schools.

It will include contributions from the Department for Educations and Skills, social services, the health service, police, Connexions and the voluntary sector as well as head teachers and education managers.

The conference will take place on 29 and 30 June in central London.
