Also speaking at the event will be independent early-years consultant Mary-Jane Drummond, Philippa Russell, former director of the Council for Disabled Children, and Carole Sutton, head of the Parenting Studies Unit at De Montfort University.
The biennial two-day conference is organised by the Early Childhood Unit at NCB in partnership with NES Arnold and CACHE (Council for Awards in Children's Care and Education).
This year the event will focus on the individual needs of each child, with sessions on children from birth to three and very young children with special needs and disabilities.
The Nottingham Early Years Conference takes place 8-9 July. There is a special discount on bookings made before Wednesday 31 March.
