Enterprise: Centre to aid youth entrepreneurs

The multi-million pound Stowe Centre youth facility in Paddington, west London, is launching an enterprise scheme for young people looking to start their own businesses.

The Youth Enterprise Hub aims to provide aspiring young businessmen and women with practical advice. Activities will include a fashion enterprise project where T-shirts and accessories will be produced and sold, as well as a young business club featuring workshops and seminars on starting a business. Young people will also get a chance to secure grants by pitching ideas to industry experts in a Dragon's Den-style contest.

Colin Barrow, council leader for Westminster, said: "This scheme will give a massive head start to budding entrepreneurs in Westminster and I hope they can take away valuable ideas that will put them on the road to success."
