1 min read
Fears are growing that the Government will pull the plug on the special educational needs regional partnerships.

Funding for the partnerships runs out in March and junior schoolsminister Lord Adonis has still not said whether he will provide themoney to continue their work.

Senior figures at the partnerships had expected an announcement in Julyand are now starting to fear the worst.

"It's all very much in a state of flux. If the Government isn't givingany more funding to the partnerships then we need to all come togetherand talk about how we move forward.

"I know that the local authorities have said that they will find it verydifficult if there is no more funding."
