The 50,000, three-month campaign, Drugs F**k You Up, has already been banned from local buses. It was designed by the council's press team with input from young people, young offenders and drug agencies, and it focuses on case studies.
Packs will be sent to each young person in the borough, teachers' packs will be sent to schools and a billboard campaign starts from next month.
A web site has also been launched.
