DRUGS AND ALCOHOL: Turning Point helps Windsor youth

The service, which targets vulnerable young people in the borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, will work primarily with care leavers, homeless people or those with a history of criminal activity or substance misuse.

Two properties, provided by Windsor Supported Housing Scheme, will be used to encourage each service user to develop independent living skills.

Group sessions will help each young person develop an individual support plan, which covers all aspects of their daily lives.

Specific support will be given in securing full social security entitlements, along with training in money management, shopping, cleaning and household management.
