
She might be only a few weeks into her role leading the Family and Childcare Trust, but Julia Margo is already thinking big. As a former director at the thinktanks Demos and the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), her intellectual prowess is little in doubt. And she is now determined to set the agenda for family policy, as well as explore ways in which the charity can make a difference at a more practical level.
"I want to continue to push the childcare agenda forwards, particularly the implementation of the 30 free hours and make sure it works for all parents," she says.
