Don't miss: Ten Weeks in Costa Rica

Ten Weeks in Costa Rica charts the adventures of 12 young people from Northern Ireland as they leave home to embark on the adventure of a lifetime in the snake-filled jungle of Costa Rica and learn to survive in the wild.

During the trip, which was organised by Raleigh International, the young people find themselves wading through mosquito-dense rivers and warding off giant spiders while suffering the effects of food poisoning.

The programme highlights the contrasting emotions the young people have to deal with, and how they evolve as people and overcome preconceived ideas about their peers.
