Four girls and four boys were selected from nearly 10,000 volunteers and the programme follows their adventures as they experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Their tough journey sees them tolerating harsh conditions, including travelling more than 100 miles by dog sled and surviving temperatures of 50 degrees below zero.
