The Cutting Club is a frank and intimate portrait of self-injury, told by young people that cut, burn or deliberately injure themselves. Those featured include Nia, 14, who finds it hard to fit in to school and doesn't like the adolescent unit she now attends, and Libby, 15, who started cutting herself at secondary school after being bullied. All the young people belong to an internet support group with more than 20,000 members set up by Ash, 21, a recovered self-harmer.
Through interviews and video diaries, this documentary follows the troubled lives of the teenagers and young adults.
