Crime Reduction: Safer London gives first anti-crime cash

The Safer London Foundation has given a 5,500 grant to the Youth Entertainment Sound System to showcase young talent at this month's Tottenham Festival.

The foundation will support local projects working to reduce crime in the capital. It is backed by the Metropolitan Police Authority and businesses including Atos Origin, KPMG and Rentokil Initial.

The charity will give grants to projects of up to 20,000.
