Project: Crime days

Mission: To get young people to think about the consequences of crime

Funding: Each school pays for the day

The charity Prison! Me! No! Way! has been running crime days since 1993. The events involve staff travelling to schools, youth offending teams and other youth organisations to speak to young people about the consequences of getting involved in crime.

The day involves co-ordinators meeting young people to show them what can happen if they get involved in crime.

The co-ordinators hold workshops and show DVDs of victims' stories. Each event is tailored to whatever issues affect that area, for example knife crime or antisocial behaviour.
