The joining of Rainer and Crime Concern will create one of the biggest charities working with children and young people, boasting around 1,200 employees and 800 volunteers. The charities will join forces on 1 July and work under the name Rainer Crime Concern until it undergoes a rebranding later this year.
Joyce Moseley, chief executive of Rainer, will head the new organisation.
Rainer works with under-supported young people, while Crime Concern aims to stop young people turning to crime.
The charities hope Rainer Crime Concern will bring a broader range of services to deprived communities.
Moseley said: "By coming together we can offer a range of services for young people in the community."
