Courses guide for 2004/5

Children Now this week publishes its Guide to Courses and Training 2004/5. It lists details of more than 570 academic and skills-focused courses by 125 academic, commercial and voluntary- sector providers.

The courses are aimed at professionals who work with children in social care, health, education, childcare and early years. It is the first publication to draw together courses in all these fields in one place.

There is also an overview of how training and professional structures are evolving in response to the reform of children's services, including a new degree for social workers and a foundation degree for those entering early years education.

The guide is free with this issue of Children Now. Extra copies can be obtained for 3.75 by calling 020 8532 3628.
