NCB Now: NCB publishes new training catalogue

1 min read
A new training catalogue produced by NCB provides full details on the charity's range of customised courses available from October 2004 until September 2005.

Aimed at those working with children and young people in a variety of contexts, the courses are divided into specialist areas such as early years, health, disability, PSHE and sex and relationships education.

A new addition to this year's catalogue is a course offered by NCB's Policy Unit, Understanding and working with government and Parliament. Available as a one or two-day course, the session is aimed at anyone who works with or wants to influence government and Parliament, and who wishes to improve their skills.

The course examines the workings and structure of government and Parliament. Participants will learn how to identify relevant contacts and the best way to build relationships with these targets.
