CONNEXIONS: Sheffield Futures blames job losses on pensions

1 min read

From 2004, Sheffield Futures will have to increase staff contributions to the South Yorkshire Pension Fund from 10.7 to 18 per cent. So, for a Connexions worker on a salary of 20,000, the charitable trust will need to find almost 4,000 a year before annual pay increments are factored in, compared with around 2,000 previously.
