Connexions: Partnerships wary of plans for inspection framework

1 min read

The association's concerns have been outlined in its response to the Ofsted-led consultation on The Framework for Inspection of Children's Services, which ended last week.

Under the plans, inspections of individual Connexions partnerships will be replaced by joint area reviews from September. This will mean a third of all partnerships will never have received an individual inspection.

The association dismissed the joint area reviews, which are likely to draw heavily on existing data, as carrying a "high risk of inaccurate judgments".
