Connexions: Humber gets funds for creative scheme

The partnership has hired a number of full-time workers for the project, including a film-maker, two drama workers, a music worker and a project co-ordinator. A youth worker has been seconded to work as a city arts worker for the project.

Steve Kay, youth inclusion manager, said: "The project came about because of our relationship with Hull Youth Service, the city arts unit and BBC Blast. We hope to enable young people to voice opinions and influence activities, and to enable their active involvement."
