Children's fund: Projects urged to cater for teenagers

The report, from the National Evaluation of the Children's Fund, cited concerns about "the arbitrary nature" of the Children's Fund age limit of 13 years. Researchers quoted a 13-year-old saying: "I used to go to the participation project but when I started secondary school I wasn't allowed to go."

A mother quoted in the report said: "There is nothing really for the over-13s."
