Children's centres: Charities win 10m advisory contract

Two charities have won a national contract to advise English councils on setting up children's centres, Children Now can reveal.

ContinYou and 4Children are part of a consortium that will help councilsas they work to hit the Government target of a children's centre inevery community by 2010.

The two-year contract is thought to be worth in the region of 10m.
