At an initial meeting last month, representatives from the five hostboroughs examined the possible impact on provision, including thechildcare needs of the thousands of games staff.
Denise Burke, the London Development Agency's senior childcare manager'said it was vital to start planning now.

"It's a piece of work that needs to be done to make sure those fiveboroughs have actually got the childcare available when that timecomes," said Burke.
"This will mean looking at what kind of childcare will be needed, whether that's creches or flexible childcare places, for the parents whowill sign up as volunteers."
