Celebration events held across the UK

Youth Work
Youth services in the UK have been marking Youth Work Week, which takes place annually between 1 and 7 November.

In Scotland, a conference was held at Hampden Park, Glasgow, to showcase youth work's contribution to participation, diversity and human rights. Other events have taken place round the country.

Andy Hopkinson, co-ordinator for Youth Work Week at The National Youth Agency, said: "Every year the week throws up countless examples of how youth work can engage with young people and celebrate their achievements."
