CARE-LEAVERS: Care advisory body gets rescue funds

The partnership comes at a time when RPS Rainer, a charity working with young people at risk of social exclusion, was considering launching its own policy unit.

The National Leaving Care Advisory Service, formerly known as First Key, closed in June. RPS Rainer has secured 120,000 continued funding from the Department for Education and Skills and The Nuffield Foundation.

RPS Rainer has more than 60 projects in the UK.
