Bob the Builder to be eco-warrior

Children's character Bob the Builder is being enlisted to get nurseries across the UK involved in educating young children about the environment and their impact on the world around them.

The project is offering "eco-makeovers" to 12 Ofsted registered nurseries, which will involve renovating an indoor or outdoor space to create a greener, more energy-efficient environment.

Project: Renovate was launched by Bob last week to coincide with National Energy Efficiency Week.

Every Ofsted and local authority registered nursery in the UK will receive a resource pack explaining entry guidelines and information about the project.
