Bike Club, which is run by ContinYou, cycling organisation CTC and UK Youth, aims to help young people between the ages of 10 and 20 get started with cycling. The young people will be offered training and equipment as well as a variety of other opportunities.
It is initially hoped that clubs will be set up in 18 towns and cities in England.
Sarah Troke, Bike Club's national manager, said: "Cycling offers an ideal way for children to learn about issues such as the importance of physical activity and the discovery of their outdoor environment."
