Big interview: Mama's words of wisdom

I have a strong identity of who I am," says Lorlett Hudson, life coach and founder of One Hand Can't Clap. "A lot of young people have no identity at all. Ask them, 'who are you, what are you about, what's your purpose?' And they say, 'I dunno.'"

As a life coach, Hudson is called in by agencies including Connexions, schools, Sure Start and youth offending teams to work with young people from many different backgrounds - from gifted and talented young people who lack confidence, to disengaged young people who are not achieving at school. She has been running a breakfast club at Gladesmore Community School in Tottenham, north London, for the past four years and says she has seen a real change in mindset among the young people who attend.
