I've been reading a lot about the new Sexual Offences Act, designed to update fairly ancient laws and include the new crime of grooming on the internet. I find that insidious, but it's not something I had given a lot of thought to.
The other day, I was listening to a group of schoolgirls discussing their fellas and one said she met hers in a chatroom. "How could you?" said one. "That's so dodgy, I'd never do that." I wanted to turn round and congratulate her, but just kept listening to them discussing the pros and cons of the net, including uploading photos and sending them to each other.
