Well, that's nearly it for another year. The shops are chock full oftinsel and trees, the Christmas party circuit is under way and the merrygo round is back in the middle of the precinct in town, having beenrelatively unharmed by my semi-inebriated foray last year. Happydays.
We've even got a market in town, selling wooden toys, sweets andChristmas trees. The children love it - we took our group on somelate-night shopping recently and the lights enchanted them. And, ofcourse, they all wanted a go on the roundabout.
It was magical.
I remember the growing excitement during November and early Decemberwhen I was a child; I don't think I've ever really grown out ofthat.
