The two days fly by with the participants loving it but asking for more, especially on working with disabled young people. I foresee lots of work ahead.
Wednesday: Meet a manager from Dreamwall, an organisation that provides residential respite care in the New Forest. It's a small organisation but it has been in the news a lot recently after achieving fantastic results with children in care.
We discuss joint working and plan for summer activities, including an end of summer show run by young people. There is a real partnership feel and it seems really exciting.
Thursday: It's KidZone night. We have a regular group of teenagers who attend and they love the meeting. But we've been worried about one as we've heard that her foster placement has been fragile. She's been arriving home at all hours.
