I always like seeing people I know from work when I'm out and about.
Sometimes you can stop for a chat. Sometimes you just don't have anything to say, so it's best to just smile. And sometimes you look so rough you have to move quickly to avoid being spotted.
But this week I've seen so many people from work that I'm starting to get a bit of a complex. Either I'm following them or they're following me.
It all started on Wednesday. I was at my local swimming pool when one of our Connexions personal advisers popped up next to me. We had a nice little chat. Then it happened again when the following day the director of our Education Action Zone splashed past and stopped to say hello. And then on Friday it was the turn of our local community police officer to peer out at me from behind his goggles.
