Charlotte's parents have separated. Neither can care for her. The headof safeguarding told The Sunday Times the council was working towardsthe best possible outcome for Charlotte. "But it is not appropriate tocomment further on the details of this case."
The Daily Mail filled the silence. Surely Charlotte deserves better itasked. The last sentence of its intrusive article said of Charlotte: "Itis perhaps, the one blessing in this tragic tale that she is unaware ofthe unedifying drama which she is at the centre of."
As cliched hypocrisy, this wins a coconut. There wouldn't be anythingunedifying about it - just heart-rendingly difficult - if it wasn't forthe Mail's insensitive garbage.
