The coverage in local and regional papers was extensive. Cynics might wonder whether this was cool calculation by the magazine's publicity people. Breakdowns of regional variations were given. Seven per cent of those in the South East said they regarded themselves as beautiful, compared with only one per cent in the South West and Wales. In Scotland only five per cent were happy with their body, compared with 14 per cent in Yorkshire.
