The Sun got to the heart of this. It claimed that Ofcom has ruled out aban on junk food commercials before the 9pm watershed, "despiteadmitting this would have a massive effect on obesity". Why? Because it"would have cost broadcasters between 130m and 240m a yearin lost ad revenue".
