What are you working on at the moment? A resource called Beyond Barbie is about to launch. It's a worker's compendium for community-based sex and relationships education projects working with girls and young women. I'm also managing our annual competition, The Pamela Sheridan Award, which recognises good practice in sex and relationships education.

Do you link with other professionals or organisations? As a national organisation, we support all professionals working in sexual health. In my role I work with community-based health programmes, schools, young people's projects and national charities.

How did you get the job? While training as a teacher, I worked at Off The Record, a drop-in centre for young people in Scotland. I loved it so much that I did a postgraduate certificate in community education.
