Arts and media: NCH campaign to use youth play

Young people from charity NCH have begun working on a play about achievement, which will feed into a campaign planned for later in the year.

More than 50 vulnerable young people came together for the charity'sannual ARTiculation youth arts weekend in Cheshire in August. As part ofthe event, young people who took part the previous year are encouragedto come back as "buddies" to help their peers.

The buddies also work on a short play that will be performed at eventslater in the year. This year the play will form part of a campaign,Growing Strong, which NCH plans to launch in the autumn to raiseawareness and improve services around young people's emotionalwellbeing.
