Antisocial Behaviour: Newcastle teens to present radio show

Young people will be presenting radio shows on Cowgate FM for a week in April. The radio station has been set up by the Community Broadcast Initiative Tyneside, Newcastle City Council's arts development team, and youth music project CoMusica.

Elaine Parker, a community and development worker at Newcastle City Council, said: "Some of the young people who are being antisocial do not see it as antisocial behaviour. We are hoping to bring young people and the community into a discussion about what antisocial behaviour is."

Staff and volunteers will supervise the station, which will be aimed at people of all ages.
