Growing recognition
Youth workers in Leeds have been shaken by the fact there were no obvious warning signs that set these young men apart from their peers. There is a growing recognition that extremism needs to be tackled with a new kind of youth work that uses a better understanding of Islam to connect more deeply with young men.
