All that jazz

The jazz quartet appeared on the festival's B-factor stage, which was specifically set aside for young talent. The festival at Roundwood Park in the northwest London borough attracted more than 20,000 people and was timed to complement London Mayor Ken Livingstone's RISE festival. Although the Brentfield Jazz Orchestra did not enter, young people also showcased their skills in a talent competition organised by Brent Children's Fund. www.brent.gov.uk/respect.
